This site was created with one goal in mind – helping you develop and execute great kids bedroom ideas. I’m on a mission to help you figure out the right theme for your child and find the pieces you need to make it happen. We’ll be talking children’s bedding, wall decor, storage ideas – you name it. If it goes in a kids bedroom, it’ll get covered here.
I don’t sell any of the products feature on this site, and while I do receive a small percentage of sales from a few of them, that has little to do with why I include an item. I’m only after things I think you’ll want to see and read about or that will be the perfect finishing touch to a room.
About Idea Queen
My name is Susan. I’m just a normal gal like you. I just happen to be the normal gal who gets all the questions from friends and family about decorating their kids bedrooms. So I’m no a professional at this stuff by any means, but I do understand how to do exactly what you’re wanting to do. Plus, I like to shop and browse through all the cool stuff that’s available for kids bedrooms (and be sad because it’s for kids and thus doesn’t come in king size) and share those with others.
I owned a mural painting company for several years before taking my ideas online to help others. My favorite type of mural to paint was always one for a kids bedroom since parents (and kids) are more willing to be bold and adventurous there. I have a knack for brainstorming ideas, an eye for color schemes and a passion for the creative.
